Membership Policy

We at HeyNewFriends (HNF) value a distinguished community, to uphold these truths, we have the right to terminate membership if any member is found not to be reflective of the HNF community standard.

If at any time you would like to terminate your HNF membership please give notice by email to info@heynewfriends.com.

Termination will deactivate your HNF membership card immediately, and you will no longer receive any promotional benefits that are exclusive to the community. No refunds under any circumstances.

Termination

HNF membership ceases effective immediately upon electronic, and or paper notice. Termination is not subject to any refunds, and will cease future payments if applicable. All future payments proceeding effective termination are subject to processing up to 10 business days from the termination date.

HNF members must remain in good standing at all times. HNF is subject to termination of any member due to failure of timely payment of monthly membership dues without notice. HNF will allow continued membership access “good standing” for payments that are up to 30 days late. After the 30th day HNF membership is subject to termination. If for any reason you would like to request HNF membership reinstatement please send an email to info@heynewfriends.com for consideration.

Cancellation Policy for HeyNewFriends (HNF) Membership Plans

Annual Membership Plans

  • Members can cancel their annual membership plans at any time.
  • Cancellations will be effective immediately, and members will receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the term, less one month.
  • Example: If a member cancels their annual membership after 6 months of usage, they will receive a refund for the remaining 6 months minus one month.

Monthly Membership Plans

  • Members must cancel their monthly membership plans at least 14 days prior to the bill date to avoid being charged for the next month.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the bill date will be effective for the following billing cycle.
  • Example: If a member’s bill date is on the 1st of every month and they cancel their membership on the 15th of the current month, they will not be charged for the following month.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our customer support team. Cancellations will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the request.

M.I.A. (Missing In Action) POLICY for HeyNewFriends Events

HeyNewFriends (HNF) reserves the right to place a hold on your card for bi-monthly meet-ups and core events (e.g., Spring into Friendship Social, Friendsgiving etc.) during the time of reservation.

HNF requires the Member to pay a refundable deposit of half the ticketed amount for all bi-monthly meet-ups and core events. After the RSVP deadline closes, HNF will email the deposit amount and the cancellation timeframe. The deposit will be refunded when the Member attends the meet-up or cancels within the stated time frame. If you are eligible for a refund, refunds will be sent within two (2) business days after the Member has given proper cancellation notice or has attended the meet-up/event.

 

HeyNewFriends Events Cancellation Policy

HNF relies on reservations being honored by our Members and adequate notice given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies:

Friends with Benefits or Annual Plans
  • Cancellation Deadline: HNF reserves the right to keep your deposit as a cancellation fee if you fail to notify us by the deadline stated in the attendance confirmation email or fail to attend.
  • Cancellation Notice: For all bi-monthly meet-ups and core events, you must notify us of a cancellation as described in your attendance confirmation email.
  • Options After Deadline: If a cancellation request is made after the designated cancellation timeframe, members under the Friends with Benefits or Annual Plans will be obligated to either forfeit the value of the ticket or endeavor to recover the funds by reselling the ticket to another eligible member. As a final recourse, the ticket may be sold by the original purchaser on the secondary market.
  • Cancellation Fee: The cancellation fee will offset any expenses incurred by HNF due to purchasing a non-refundable ticket with the vendor and/or being unable to reallocate the ticket to another Member.
  • Notification: We will notify you in writing if the deposit is not refunded.

Commitment Issues Plan

Members under the Commitment Issues Plan are required to pay in full for bi-monthly meet-ups and core events after the RSVP closes.
