We Can't Wait For You To Join Us

Become apart of a community that will allow you to cultivate lasting, resourceful, fun, and rewarding relationships.

HeyNewFriends! My name is Maya Whitelaw and I currently live in Houston, Texas. I moved to Houston from Memphis, Tn in April 2022. The best decision of my life! I work on the administrative side of education as an Operations Manager. I work for an Educational Preparation Program handing all things non-instructional.

In my free time I love grabbing drinks with friends, taking my dog, Vino on walks, and participating in fitness classes such a pure barre. Moving from home can be difficult but I’m excited to have found a community of great woman to explore and share new experiences with. I’m excited to be apart of the Houston Chapter and can’t wait to form new connections!

Hey (Old, New & Soon to Come) Friends! My name is Caim (as in Camden, NJ) Stewart and I am originally from Richmond, Virginia. As a graduate of the University of Virginia (CLAS ’15, EHD ’16) and Virginia Commonwealth University (SOE ’20), I’ve spent the last decade in secondary and higher education. Whenever I am not helping students wayfind their academic and career paths, I am adding to my own journey through (most times) well-planned solo and group adventures, both near and far. Throughout my travels, I prioritize some of my other hobbies: “digital scrapbooking” (see: hoarding pics & videos – LOL), avidly brunching, amusement park adrenaline-seeking, reading, and finding the magic somewhere in between as a proud Ravenclaw ;). I look forward to connecting with you all and uncovering our commonalities!

I am Tamara Springer hailing from the snowy city of Syracuse, NY. I’m a child of Barbadian and Panamanian immigrants, so I love to travel and eat delicious food – especially Caribbean food! In fact, I run a food blog with my grad school friend, so I spend A LOT of time restaurant hopping and exercising (because balance is necessary).

Outside of traveling, eating, and exercising, I love to read and nurture my plant babies.

I’m so excited to serve as a chapter lead and to meet you lovely ladies!
